I was asked to draw something to celebrate the beauty of Canada for our countries 150th anniversary. This painting emerged as I reflected on growing up in the beautiful Alberta prairies, but also always having to fight the winters. This piece represents the cities, the rivers, the forests, and the prairie skies I grew up with and hold in my heart.
